Extra details

Target of this antibody::FCGR2B
Alternative names of antibody target::FCGR2B; CD32; FCG2; IGFR2; Low affinity immunoglobulin gamma Fc region receptor II-b; IgG Fc receptor II-b; CDw32; Fc-gamma RII-b; Fc-gamma-RIIb; FcRII-b; CD32
Background information::Receptor for the Fc region of complexed or aggregated immunoglobulins gamma. Low affinity receptor. Involved in a variety of effector and regulatory functions such as phagocytosis of immune complexes and modulation of antibody production by B-cells. Binding to this receptor results in down-modulation of previous state of cell activation triggered via antigen receptors on B-cells (BCR), T-cells (TCR) or via another Fc receptor. Isoform IIB1 fails to mediate endocytosis or phagocytosis. Isoform IIB2 does not trigger phagocytosis.
Antibody host::Rabbit
Clonality of antibody::Polyclonal
Isotype::Rabbit IgG
Clone::N/A
This antibody reacts with::Human
Immunogene sequence::Synthesized peptide derived from the C-terminal region of human CD32
Form of antibody::Liquid
Formulation of this antibody::PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide.
Purification method::Synthesized peptide derived from the C-terminal region of human CD32
This antibody has been succesfully tested for use in following methods::WB, ELISA
Recommended usage::Western Blot: 1:500 – 1:2000 ELISA: 1:20000
Storage information::Shelf time: 12 months in temp.: -20 deg.C
Shipping conditions::gel pack
How to handle this antibody::The antibody solution should be gently mixed before use
Description:This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.
Properties:If you buy Antibodies supplied by Biovision they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
Group:Polyclonals and antibodies
About:Polyclonals can be used for Western blot, immunohistochemistry on frozen slices or parrafin fixed tissues. The advantage is that there are more epitopes available in a polyclonal antiserum to detect the proteins than in monoclonal sera.
French translation:anticorps
